2003 Results Are Posted

New team and solo entries will be accepted between 9:00 and 9:30 AM the morning of the race, because it was unclear as to where to send the applications.

The event is but a short time away. For the BBQ we, as event organizers, will provide hot dogs, hamburgers, soft drinks and bottled water. We are counting on participants to bring the following (according to the first letter of your last name):

A-H Salad

I-Q Deserts

R-Z Condiments: Lettuce, Tomatoes, and Onions for use with Hamburgers (pre-sliced).

ADDED EVENT: We will feature two distances this year: approximately 3 miles or 5 miles. When you choose a distance, all disciplines for your team (or solo participant) will go that distance. You will be asked to sigh up for either distance during check-in the morning of the event.

Saturday, June 14th, 2003. A date published earlier in the 2003 Alaska Runner's Calendar was changed because of schedule conflicts with other events.

Membership is the Arctic Bicycle Club is NOT required for those doing the mountain biking portion.

The shorter distance has been added because a few equestrians have expressed the concern that they were not sure their horses could maintain a 200 meter per minute trot for the full 5 miles so early in the season.

This year you are asked to have your teams made up in time for the registration deadline. However, if you are looking for an equestrian, a runner, or a mountain biker before registration closes, please contact Bjarne or Robin (see below).
